TRON continues its stellar start to 2019 with a high profile appointment of former SEC employee, David Labhart, as Chief Compliance Officer.
This is the first compliance appointment by the blockchain project. David Labhart worked as an Attorney for the US Securities and Exchange Commission and has acquired extensive experience in the regulation of emerging risks and technology, including cryptocurrency, blockchain, and high-frequency trading.
The finance veteran will also serve as Co-General Counsel at TRON. David’s 9 years spent at SEC saw him play the role of a Supervisory Attorney in the Office of Compliance Inspections and Examinations focusing on Broker-Dealers, Investment Advisors, Self-Regulatory Organizations.
David described his appointment as a perfect progression towards his passion for the frontier of financial industry.
